Sehat dan Sakit, Anugerah atau Kutuk: Sebuah Tinjauan Teologis dan Kesehatan Publik

Costantinus Ponsius Yogie Mofun

Abstract

The concept of health and illness itself often relates to the relationship between blessings and curses. People see that sickness is a gift from God while sickness is a curse given to humans for not doing what is His will and causing sin. This view is actually an understanding that has existed for a long time but sometimes becomes the basis of one's desire to make an assessment of one's religious life to God. With this problem, theology and public health will be carried out looking at the problems that occur starting with interpreting religion and public health, then theological relations in the Old Testament and New Testament using this approach in the relationship of blessings and curses on healthy or sick.

Abstrack
